War Militaria is an e-commerce website dedicated to reproductions, collectible items and products connected with military history.

The products, images and descriptions displayed on the website are published exclusively for historical, collecting, documentary, cultural and educational purposes. The presence of items connected with the First and Second World Wars does not constitute in any way approval, promotion or glorification of ideologies, political movements, regimes or organisations, past or present.

War Militaria does not support any political, ideological, extremist, racist, discriminatory or violent group.
We represent a modern and inclusive company that rejects all forms of hatred, intolerance, racism, antisemitism, xenophobia, political violence or glorification of totalitarian ideologies.


Frequently Asked Questions

1. When will my order be shipped?

You will receive an email when your parcel has been handed over to the courier. If available, the email will include the tracking number.

Orders are normally prepared and shipped as quickly as possible after payment has been received. Some products, however, may require additional preparation time, especially if they need to be assembled, finished, aged or completed after the order is placed.

Items such as gorgets, tips, collar tabs, shields, assembled accessories, special finishes or products not immediately ready for shipment may require up to approximately 8 working days before dispatch.


2. How long does delivery take?

Delivery times depend on the destination country, courier and any customs procedures.

Approximate delivery times:

Italy: 24/48 working hours
Germany, France, Spain, Austria and main EU countries: 2/5 working days
Non-EU Europe: 3/7 working days
USA and North America: 5/10 working days
Rest of the world: 5/15 working days, subject to customs checks or local delays

These are average estimates and may vary.


3. Where can I find the tracking number?

When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the shipping information. If the courier provides a tracking number, you can follow the shipment using the link received.

Please also check your spam or junk folder.


4. Which couriers do you use?

We use selected national and international couriers depending on destination, shipping method and available service.

Couriers may include DPD, FedEx, UPS or other logistics providers.


5. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on destination, weight, volume and selected service.

The amount is shown during checkout before final order confirmation.

6. Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship to Italy, the European Union and many non-EU countries.

For shipments outside the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees or administrative costs requested by the destination country are borne by the customer, unless otherwise stated.

The customer is responsible for checking any import restrictions applicable in their country.


7. What should I do if the parcel arrives damaged?

If the parcel is visibly damaged, opened, wet, tampered with or compromised, we recommend accepting it with a specific reservation or, if necessary, refusing delivery.

Please contact us as soon as possible at info@warmilitaria.it, attaching:

  • order number;
  • photos of the outer packaging;
  • photos of the inner packaging;
  • photos of the damaged product;
  • description of the issue.

8. Which payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods may include:

PayPal
Fast and secure online payment.

Credit or debit card
Cards from major networks are generally accepted.

Bank transfer
The order is processed after payment has been received. Bank transfers may take a few working days.

9. Can I pay cash on delivery?

Cash on delivery may be available only for certain destinations and conditions, generally for shipments within Italy.

If available, it will be shown during checkout. A surcharge may apply.


10. Can I pay by bank transfer?

Yes. If you choose bank transfer, the order will be prepared after payment has been received.

Please include the order number in the payment reference.


11. Is online payment secure?

Yes. Online payments are processed through secure external payment platforms.

War Militaria does not store full card details and does not have access to the customer’s payment credentials.


12. Can I modify an order after confirming it?

If the order has not yet been prepared or shipped, we will do our best to help.

Please contact us as soon as possible at info@warmilitaria.it, indicating the order number and requested change.

If the order has already been shipped, it can no longer be modified.


13. Can I cancel an order?

If the order has not yet been prepared or shipped, you may request cancellation.

If the order has already been shipped, you may request a return according to our return policy.


14. I cannot place an order. How can I buy?

If you have trouble completing an order, please contact us at info@warmilitaria.it.

Please provide:

  • item code or name;
  • quantity;
  • preferred payment method;
  • full name;
  • full delivery address;
  • phone number;
  • email address.

We will help you complete the order.


15. What should I do if I forgot my login details?

Go to the login page and click “Recover login details” or the equivalent option.

Enter the email address used for registration and follow the instructions.


16. Can I order without creating an account?

If guest checkout is available on the website, you can place an order without an account.

Creating an account, however, makes it easier to manage orders, view order history and submit support or return requests.


17. What materials are the items made of?

The main material is indicated in the product description where available.

Examples:

Rings: zamak, silver or other metals indicated in the product page
Decorative daggers and similar display items: steel, metal alloys, plastic or decorative materials
Flags: polyester, cotton or mixed fabrics
Ribbons: cotton, polyester or textile materials
Caps and accessories: leather, wool, polyester, plastic, fibre, felt
Collar tabs: wool, cardboard, felt, metal, zamak, brass
Stamps: wood, brass, rubber or technical materials
Belts: bovine leather, leather, textile or synthetic materials
Busts and statues: marble powder, resin or composite materials
Keychains: zamak, iron, steel, metal chain

Actual composition may vary depending on the specific item.


18. Are your items original?

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the product description, our items are reproductions.

War Militaria specialises in the production and sale of militaria reproductions, collectible items and objects inspired by historical models.

If a product is original, historical or period-made, this is clearly stated in the description.


19. Why do some items have scratches, oxidation or signs of wear?

Many items are intentionally aged, oxidised, worn or antique-finished to reproduce the appearance of historical or used objects.

For this reason, scratches, stains, colour variations, oxidation or ageing marks are not automatically considered defects if they are part of the finish or product description.


20. What should I do if I receive a defective, incorrect or non-conforming product?

Please contact us before returning the product at info@warmilitaria.it.

Please include:

  • order number;
  • item code or product name;
  • description of the issue;
  • clear photos of the product and packaging;
  • phone number.

After review, we will provide return, replacement, refund or other applicable instructions.


21. Can I return a product?

Yes. War Militaria allows return requests within 30 days from receipt of the order, according to the conditions indicated on the Returns page.

The product must be intact, unused, complete with any accessories and carefully packed.


22. How does the return process work for EU customers?

For EU customers, three options are available:

Return via DPD Pickup point
We generate a DPD label, send it by email, the customer prints it, attaches it to the parcel and drops the parcel off at the nearest DPD Pickup point.

Return with home pickup
Upon request, we can arrange pickup at the customer’s address.

Return with self-arranged shipping
The customer may send the parcel using a courier or postal service of their choice.

A valid phone number is mandatory for a DPD label or pickup.


23. How much does a return cost?

For EU customers:

Defective, incorrect, damaged upon delivery or non-conforming product:

  • return via DPD Pickup point: free of charge.

Conforming product returned due to withdrawal, change of mind or exchange:

  • DPD Pickup point Italy: €8.90;
  • DPD Pickup point other EU countries: €12.90.

Optional home pickup:

  • Italy: €16.90;
  • other EU countries: €24.90.

For non-EU customers, returns are made by self-arranged shipping at the customer’s expense, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

25. Can I choose between refund, exchange or coupon?

Yes. After receiving and checking the return, you may choose between:

  • refund;
  • product exchange;
  • coupon code for the same value.

A coupon is issued only if requested or accepted by the customer.


26. How long does a refund take?

Refunds are processed according to applicable legal deadlines and our return policy.

Depending on the payment method, the actual credit may take a few working days, especially for credit card payments or bank transfers.


27. Can I exchange a product?

Yes. If the product is conforming but you wish to exchange it, you may request an exchange within 30 days from receipt of the order.

Any return or new shipping costs will be communicated before processing the exchange.


28. Do you make custom products?

Yes. We can evaluate custom requests, specific productions, variants, accessories and items for groups, associations, reenactment, shops, theatre, film or television productions.

Please send us:

  • requested product;
  • quantity;
  • images or references;
  • desired dimensions;
  • materials or finishes;
  • any deadline.

29. Do you work with shops, resellers or e-commerce businesses?

Yes. We work with shops, resellers, e-commerce businesses, reenactment groups, associations, productions and professionals.

For B2B requests, please write to info@warmilitaria.it with:

  • company name;
  • country;
  • website or sales channels;
  • product categories of interest;
  • approximate quantities;
  • company details.

30. Do you supply items for film, theatre or television?

Yes. We supply items for sets, film productions, television productions, theatres, costume designers, set designers and documentary projects.

We can support specific requests depending on historical period, quantity, availability and production needs.


31. Can I request a product that is not in the catalogue?

Yes. If you are looking for an item that is not available on the website, you can contact us.

We cannot always guarantee production or availability, but we are happy to evaluate new requests.


32. Can the items be used for historical reenactment?

Many items are suitable for reenactment, stage use, display or collecting.

Please read the product description carefully and contact us before purchasing if you have doubts about strength, materials, dimensions or use.


33. Do you sell items connected with sensitive historical periods?

Yes. Our catalogue may include reproductions and items connected with sensitive historical periods, including the First and Second World Wars.

These items are offered exclusively for historical, collecting, documentary, educational, museum, stage or study purposes.

War Militaria rejects any propagandistic, extremist, discriminatory, violent or unlawful use.


34. Can I use images or descriptions from your website?

Texts, photographs, images, logos, descriptions and website contents are owned by War Militaria or their respective rights holders.

They may not be copied, modified, published or used without written authorisation.
