Cotton flag featuring the SS runes in the centre and the Totenkopf in the upper left corner. The design reproduces a historically documented configuration associated with the Schutzstaffel (SS) during the Third Reich.

This cotton flag reproduces a historical design featuring the SS runes prominently displayed at the centre of the field and the Totenkopf positioned in the upper left corner. Both emblems became closely associated with the Schutzstaffel (SS) during the Third Reich.
The distinctive SS runes were designed in 1929 by Walter Heck and subsequently adopted as the official emblem of the organisation. Based on stylised Germanic runic characters, they became one of the most recognisable symbols used by the SS.
The Totenkopf (“death’s head”) has a considerably older military history, having been employed by various European military formations long before the establishment of the SS. Within the organisation it appeared on the insignia of several units and on numerous items of uniform and equipment.
The combination of the SS runes with the Totenkopf appeared on a variety of historical flags, banners and ceremonial displays, making it one of the best-known visual arrangements associated with the organisation.
This version is manufactured from cotton fabric, recreating the appearance of period flags. The layout follows the traditional arrangement, with the SS runes centred on the field and the Totenkopf positioned in the upper left corner, reflecting surviving historical examples.
