
The Forstschutzkommando des Reichsforstmeisters was established in February 1940 with the mission of overseeing and safeguarding forestry operations in occupied Poland. Its personnel included German forestry officials, woodworkers, and ethnic Germans from Poland.
The Stoßtrupp-Hitler a small bodyguard unit, set up specifically for Adolf Hitler in 1923. Notable members included Rudolf Hess, Julius Schreck, Joseph Berchtold, Emil Maurice, Erhard Heiden, Ulrich Graf, and Bruno Gesche.
“Totenkopf” cuff title for uniform wear, made as a black cloth band with Totenkopf lettering in light or silver-coloured thread. Associated with the SS-Division “Totenkopf”, it was worn on the lower left sleeve as a visible unit affiliation insignia.
“Großdeutschland” cuff title, a black cloth sleeve band with embroidered lettering. Worn by Heer personnel serving in units bearing the Großdeutschland name, it identified membership in one of the best-known German Army formations of the Second World War.
“Prinz Eugen” cuff title, a black cloth sleeve band with grey-silver embroidered lettering. Worn by personnel of the 7th SS Volunteer Mountain Division “Prinz Eugen”, it identified a Waffen-SS mountain formation recruited largely from ethnic Germans in the Balkans.
“Reichsführer-SS” cuff title, a black cloth sleeve band with light embroidered lettering. Worn on the lower left sleeve by personnel of the corresponding Waffen-SS formation, it identified service in the unit bearing the Reichsführer-SSdesignation.
“Wallonien” cuff title for uniform wear, made as a black cloth band with Wallonien lettering in light or silver-coloured thread. Associated with the 28th SS Volunteer Grenadier Division “Wallonien”, it was worn on the lower left sleeve as a visible unit affiliation insignia.
