Police Apine Guide Badge (Variant)

Particular variant of the badge, which was more commonly enclosed in an enameled shield. This version is instead without the shield.

This badge was worn by police men operating in the Alps, after having obtained the qualification as Mountain Guide.
We then see the police eagle, the swastika and the oak leaf wreath above two edelweiss.
