War Militaria is an e-commerce website dedicated to reproductions, collectible items and products connected with military history.
The products, images and descriptions displayed on the website are published exclusively for historical, collecting, documentary, cultural and educational purposes. The presence of items connected with the First and Second World Wars does not constitute in any way approval, promotion or glorification of ideologies, political movements, regimes or organisations, past or present.
War Militaria does not support any political, ideological, extremist, racist, discriminatory or violent group.
We represent a modern and inclusive company that rejects all forms of hatred, intolerance, racism, antisemitism, xenophobia, political violence or glorification of totalitarian ideologies.
War Militaria is an Italian company specialising in the production and sale of militaria reproductions, collectible items, decorations, badges, medals, historical accessories, reenactment items and products intended for the world of military-history collecting.
Our work was born from a genuine passion for history, documentary research and traditional craftsmanship. From the beginning, our goal has been to create accurate, recognisable and historically coherent items, offering collectors, reenactors, specialist shops, museums, theatre productions, film productions and television productions carefully made products suitable for different contexts.
Our story began in the 1990s, in a small workshop where the founders started reproducing a limited number of Italian military items related to the Second World War. What was initially a personal passion gradually became a profession, then a structured workshop, and eventually a company able to work with customers, retailers and professional partners throughout Europe.
Over the years, we have expanded our catalogue, improved our production techniques, studied new materials and invested in historical and technical research. Today, War Militaria offers a catalogue of more than 3500 items, inspired by historical models from the First World War, the Second World War and other periods of European and international military history.
War Militaria is not just an online shop. It is a workshop, an archive, a point of reference for collectors, and a place where historical research meets manual craftsmanship.
Each product is created through a process that combines:
historical research, through the study of photographs, documents, catalogues, manuals, regulations, period sources and original objects;
technical analysis, to understand materials, proportions, fixing systems, finishes, dimensions, thicknesses, engravings, reliefs and construction details;
craftsmanship, based on traditional techniques, manual skill and knowledge of metalworking;
aesthetic and functional control, so that each article remains coherent with its reference model and suitable for collecting, reenactment, stage use or documentary purposes.
Many of our products are created by studying original objects preserved in our own collection or made available by collectors, archives, enthusiasts and collaborators. This allows us to work with real measurements, shapes, reliefs and details, avoiding generic interpretations and maintaining a high level of visual fidelity.
Every item we make is designed, developed and produced in Italy.
Our operational headquarters are located in Tuscany, in an area historically connected with craftsmanship, metalworking, artistic production and manufacturing creativity. This connection with our territory is an essential part of our working method.
Our reproductions may involve modelling, engraving, stamping, casting, striking, soldering, assembly, application of accessories, surface treatments, oxidation, ageing and manual finishing.
We do not produce simple generic decorative objects. Our work is based on the technical and visual reconstruction of historical items, with particular attention to:
shapes and proportions
materials and finishes
reliefs and details
fixing systems
colours and surface treatments
coherence with the historical reference model
Aged, oxidised or worn finishes on some products are intentionally created to reproduce the appearance of historical or used objects. For this reason, marks, scratches, oxidation, colour variations or aesthetic irregularities may be part of the finish itself and should not automatically be considered defects.
The War Militaria catalogue includes a wide range of items, including:
medals and decorations
military and civil badges
insignia and emblems
pins and uniform accessories
buckles, plaques and metal components
ribbons, ribbon accessories and supports
dog tags and small plates
flags and textile items
historical reenactment items
products for stage, theatre, cinema and television
custom products on request
Our catalogue is constantly evolving. We enjoy innovating, experimenting and adding new products, while maintaining our focus on historical documentation and craftsmanship.
Each new item requires time: study of the model, research of sources, design, production tests, material selection, prototyping and final inspection. This process allows us to offer products that are not only visually interesting, but also coherent with the historical context from which they derive.
Over the years, we have worked with a broad and diverse range of customers:
private collectors
specialist shops
e-commerce retailers
historical reenactment groups
cultural associations
theatres
film productions
television productions
set designers and costume designers
museums, archives and documentary organisations
enthusiasts of military history and uniformology
Each customer has different needs. A collector looks for historical fidelity and quality of detail; a reenactor needs solid and credible objects; a film production requires coherence, availability, speed and continuity; a specialist shop needs reliable and repeatable products.
Our work consists of responding to these needs professionally, maintaining a balance between accuracy, craftsmanship and commercial service.
Working with objects inspired by military history requires care, competence and responsibility.
For War Militaria, history is not a tool for propaganda, but a field of study, documentation and preservation of material culture. The items in our catalogue are not intended to promote ideologies, but to serve historical, collecting, museum, stage, educational and documentary contexts.
We are aware of the sensitivity of certain historical periods and of the need to treat every article with appropriate language, context and caution. For this reason, we reject any use of our products for discriminatory, violent, propagandistic or unlawful purposes.
Our approach is documentary, technical and artisanal. We produce objects belonging to material history, not tools of political glorification.
For us, quality does not only concern the product, but the entire customer experience.
Every order is handled with care, from product preparation to packaging and shipping. We work to offer:
clear descriptions
representative photographs
assistance before and after purchase
tracked shipments
fast replies
exchange, return or refund options according to the applicable conditions
support for specific requests or special supplies
The relationship with our customers is a fundamental part of our work. Many of our products are also born from dialogue with collectors, reenactors, retailers and professionals who point out objects, variants, details or production needs.
Our mission is to preserve, reproduce and make accessible part of the material culture connected with military history, through products made with technical attention, craftsmanship and respect for historical context.
We want to offer items that can be used for collecting, study, reenactment, display, stage, cinema, television and documentation, while maintaining a clear position: history must be studied, understood and contextualised, not glorified.
War Militaria was born from a passion for collecting and continues to grow thanks to that same passion.
We work in this field and for this field, serving those who share a serious, conscious and documented interest in history.
